The Samsung Galaxy M30 has a 6.4 inches large screen display that ~88.1% screen-to-body ratio and it is a Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors supported. For resolution this display has 1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~394 ppi density) and it full HD.
On the M20 device, we see LCD, but it has a Super AMOLED screen which is the best display at this price segment. The level of contrast is fantastic and viewing angles also great. At all angles, its screen looks stunning. It has maximum brightness for outdoor visibility and that amazing. But at the auto mode, the screen bright on the sun is not enough. So set the brightness manually while you are outdoor.
The Infinity-U notch will not disappoint you from watching a movie or playing a game or daily uses. If you want to hide the notch, then you can easily do it from the setting. This device is supported the Widevine L1 DRM protocol, so you can able to stream Netflix in HD video on this phone.
For the camera hardware on Samsung, Galaxy M30 is mostly similar to the M20 device that the previous version of M30. But on the M20 don’t have additional depth sensor but this device has another 5MP depth sensor with a primary camera. With an f/1.9 aperture, it has 13MP camera sensor for primary. 5MP camera for secondary that ultra-wide camera.
But this device camera is unfortunately plagued with the same issues that have on m20. Photos tend to overexpose. Although, it can capture serviceable shots. The 5Mp ultra-wide sensor isn’t able to capture enough data, and it is best used for the outdoor landscape shots since it lacks focusing capabilities.
M30 is running with Android OS Android 8.1 (Oreo). For Cpu, this device has Octa-core (2×1.8 GHz Cortex-A73 & 6×1.6 GHz Cortex-A53) with Chipset Exynos 7904 (14 nm) and Mali-G71 MP2 GPU. for internal memory it has 64 Gb and 128 Gb option, and for RAM it also has 4/6 GB option.
The M30 internal specification is mostly similar to the M20 device. It is powered by Exynos 7904 chipset that built on the 14nm process. It is an octa-core chipset with the combination of two high-performance Cortex A73 cores combined with six Cortex A53 efficiency cores.
The M30 has two dedicated nanoSIM card slots, and both support VoLTE. The smartphone is very good at the network performance section. Voice call quality is cleared and loud.
M30 battery life is exceptional. This device has a 5,000mAh battery that enough to use for one day easily. Battery well optimization with software, on my uses the M30 and I almost used it for two days in one change. For testing, I am using this device for web browsing, phone calls, music streaming, social media use, even a spot of gaming. With a heavy uses it backup up to 8 hours to on-screen time. It supported 15W fast charging over USB-C. A fast charger is included in the box with the Galaxy M30.
The Samsung galaxy M30 is very food for its battery life. But on the camera section, it disappointed me, and it also has the same issues that we find with M series others device like M20. Although, it has 15W fast charging technology. On the same time, both SIM were supported to the 4G.
