HTC U12 Life performance
The U12 life uses the 14nm Snapdragon 636 with eight Kryo 260 cores and Adreno 509 GPU. Compared to another mid-range phone I’ve used recently, the U12 Life tried with random slow-downs and overall apathy in daily use. A factory reset can not solve anything, nor did OTA updates as the U12 Life review period.
This device has a mid-range chipset and 4GB RAM, and the multitasking is enough for the daily uses. I don’t expect OnePlus 6 level speed on this device. I was like HTC Desire 626 than a 2018 product. If you want to buy this device for gaming, please don’t make this mistake. This device has a microSD card slot, and it supports up to 1TB, but it uses shared SIM slot. Available 2 edition like 3 GB with 32 GB and 4Gb with 64 GB.
The HTC U12 life has a dual camera for primary. One 16 MP with f/2.0, PDAF and another 5MP with a depth sensor. The primary camera will able to record video at 2160p@30fps, 1080p@30fps. For the selfie camera, this device has 13 MP, f/2.0.
Pictures shot with primary cameras are usually nice but lack any blow to make them stand out. For the price point, it isn’t demanded to work any miracles, but there’s an unfortunate capable-but-unreliable bent to the primary camera here you don’t certainly get on other phones around this price.
Hope you read the full review, but the HTC U12 Life is comfortable only for daily uses. Not for heavy uses. You can play the low graphics game on this device but not mod or high game.
